Darjeeling is a city in the state of West Bengal in India located in the Mahabharata Range or Lesser Himalaya. This city is snuggled in the sloppy mountains with the spangled Mt Kanchenjunga soaring above the blue sky; it is also called as "Queen of the Hills".
Darjeeling is a perfect retreat for nature lovers and is famous for its tea industry and the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

ReplyDeleteThe train journey in the hills of darjeeling is really extraordinary. I captured so many pictures with my camera. It is just like a eye feast to my eyes. One of the best journey i ever had is in Darjeeling.
